Tuesday, April 22—Cincinnati
Tour the Butterfly Show at the Krohn Conservatory. Box Lunch from McAlister’s Deli served in a picnic area overlooking the Ohio River. Go to the Art Museum for a tour of Quilt Masterpieces and three traveling Rembrandt self-portraits. Cost: $20 including lunch.
Thursday, May 22—Madison, Indiana
Orientation at the Visitor’s Center. One-hour private Trolley Tour of the historic district. Lunch at Key West Shrimp House on the banks of the Ohio, built in an old button factory using mussel shells. After lunch, tour the Lanier House and Gardens. Cost: $12 plus lunch (sandwiches 4-5, entrees 8-11; daily special crab cakes 9.45.
Wednesday, June 18—ShakerVillage
Take the Village Tour of Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill (ca. 1820). Lunch at Trustee’s Office Dining Room. After lunch, take a riverboat ride on the Kentucky River. Cost: $20 plus lunch (entrees $8-11).
