Latonia Baptist Church will be hosting a monthly concert on the first Friday of the month from 12-1pm.  We will host a variety of musicians.  It is free to attend and you're encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch.  This is a causal come-and-go atmosphere, so come even if you can't stay the entire time!

January 4th- Out of the Blue- Out of the Blue is an acoustic duo with Roxanna Trimble and Michael Braden. They have more than 50 years of playing and performing experience between them. They enjoy performing many different styles of music including; Classic Rock, Folk, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Classical, Original and More!  If you see one of their live shows you never know what song will be played next, they just come “Out of the Blue"

February 1st - Tony and Joy Burdette with Toni Sheffer- You will not want to miss this concert! Music for all tastes………. Sacred, contemporary, classical, and more!

March 1st – The Northern Kentucky Bluegrass Band- The Northern Kentucky Bluegrass Band has been playing traditional Bluegrass music weekly for over 10 years.  Combining musicians from 5 different bands (genres ranging from Classical, to Gypsy Jazz, to Rock, to Alt Country...) the NKYBB blends 3-part harmony, instrumental virtuosity and a little humor to create a unique brand of entertainment.

April 5th – Adam Crozier- An acoustic, harmonic, and melodic moment for your ears, mind and heart…” With a fondness of the classics and vocal harmonies that remind you of the singer-songwriters of the 60's and 70's; Adam delivers fun and family friendly songs for all to enjoy!

May 3rd - James Manning- James Manning is a unique blend of classical piano, blues, country, and southern gospel. A performer for over 60 years, his musical stylings are sure to have you toe tapping! You will hear country and gospel favorites as well as new and fun original songs. This is a concert you don’t want to miss!

 June 7th - Harps of Grace - Kathleen Miguel and Leslie Stratton perform harp duets throughout Ohio and the Midwest. Kathleen is a former student of Leslie’s and went on to earn a master’s degree in harp at the University of Cincinnati. Kathleen has a large studio of private students and performs solo programs in the area. Leslie is the principal harpist with the Dayton Philharmonic and she also serves as director of music at Central Presbyterian Church. Leslie and Kathleen perform all styles of music in their programs. Classical, popular, Celtic, and sacred music provide a program with music that everyone will enjoy!

July 5th - Rusty Bird- Saxophone Artist Rusty Bird presently offers a music ministry of solo saxophone playing, praise and worship and testimony in Northern Kentucky. Rusty has been playing for 50 years and brings an exciting, powerful and refreshing sound to praise & worship music at several local churches and also shares his talents with church audiences, weddings, retirement centers, benefits and many other events.

 October 5th- Ron Esposito- Ron Esposito came to the singing bowls because of their purity of sound and vibration. They are like tractor beams for the mind in the way that they focus attention in the present moment. The long resonant tones shift and stack in a cloud-like movement…thoughts going across the empty sky of mind. The sound is intended for a deep listening experience.

November 1st- The Faux Frenchmen-The Faux Frenchmen are acoustic guitarists Brian Lovely and George Cunningham, acoustic bassist Don Aren, and Violinist Paul Patterson. They’ve played Hot Club-driven gypsy jazz in and around Cincinnati and the Midwestern U.S. since 2002. The Faux Frenchmen adapt the Hot Club’s instrumentation and style in forging their own re-Americanized take on gypsy jazz.

December 6th- Queen City Singers- The Queen City Sisters is an a cappella women’s trio that dazzles audiences with their tight harmony arrangements of songs from the 1930’s through the 1950’s. The group was formed in 2013 based on the desire to bring a touch of old Hollywood glamour to Cincinnati area audiences. Classic songs by Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, the Andrew Sisters, and more round out an entertaining song list.
